The other day, when we were driving to daycare, I may have been going a bit fast, when we got to the corner. Thomas said, "Mom, were you going to fast at the corner? Oh no, we are going to get a ticket."
Tonight, our conversation went like this.. Me: Thomas, are you going to be a good boy tonight, when you go to bed? Thomas: Yes. Me: Ok, just remember that if you are naughty and wake up Henry, then I am going to take Spiderman away. Thomas: Mom, if you take the Spiderman away that Aunt Theresa gave me, then I will be so sad. I will be sad and tears will run down my face. Then the garbage truck will come and smash my Spiderman and Aunt Theresa will be mad at you! Me: (after just staring at him for his long, interesting reason/story) Ok then, let's not be naughty. Thomas: Ok, mommy. (with a big smile)
It's never a dull conversation, when you are talking to Thomas.
The biggest news from the past month is that we now have a six month old and a three year old! Henry is growing by leaps and bounds and is so much fun. He loves to smile, laugh and watch everything that his big brother does. You can tell that he is just itching to play with Thomas. I'm sure that will happen soon enough.
Thomas was three this past Sunday. We had a birthday party for him this weekend, which was, of course, a Cars themed party. He chose a huge Mater balloon and we found decorations and accessories to match. It was a great gathering and Thomas was so excited.
There are a few pictures from the past month. The first one is of Thomas and Charlie's first, official camp out! They went camping about 30 minutes south of St. Peter and had a great time.
This is a picture of Thomas is his Dash from the Incredibles costume. We went to a superhero themed party and Thomas had a BLAST!
Henry is almost rolling over. Well, he's done it a few times, but doesn't seem too interested in it. He seems to get where he wants by kicking his feet enough times to shimmy himself around.
Thomas received a really cool camping set from our family in Washington. After getting the tent all set up, Charlie and Thomas decided to make a robot out of the box.
Instead of having birthday cake or cupcakes, we decided to have ice cream sundaes. Luckily, candles still stick well in ice cream and whip cream!
Playing with some of his birthday gifts...Spiderman is shooting webs at Mater.
Happy Boy!
Practicing T-Ball with his dad. They have been out every night. Thomas can actually hit the ball very well. I don't know who is more excited about it...Thomas or Charlie. :)
