One fun thing about having big trucks, is that you can ride around in them. We have many pictures of Thomas sitting in this truck. He seems to think it's very funny. Someday, I'm sure we will look back at this and wonder how in the world he fit in there.
Apples, pumpkins and scarecrows..oh my! Thomas had his first bite of an apple this week. We were at a wedding and apples and pumpkins were part of the decorations at the reception. (Very beautiful.) Thomas and his friend Lydia decided that it was time to eat. So, Thomas watched Lydia bite into her apple and then he dove into his own. He ate half of the apple, before supper! His sweater was soaked..thanks to mom, forgetting to put the bib on until later. We also spent some time that weekend at the Scarecrow Festival at Emma Krumbee's. It was a cold, damp day, but we had lots of fun. Thomas held onto his own little pumpkin and gourd for a good portion of the day. Then, mom and Thomas just happened to share an apple role/donut/delicious treat. Yum!
New this week:
- More and more now...he knows what he's not supposed to be doing. He'll walk over to the blinds saying, "no, no, nooo," then he proceeds to look back at mom and dad, then grabs onto the blinds. He knows better, but he likes to test us.
- At daycare now, instead of being pushed in the stroller on walks, he's walking for the most part. Maja said that he gets the biggest smile on his face, when he does it. They may only be able to walk as fast as turtles now, but...it's worth it.
- Dancing!! When fun music is played, Thomas starts bouncing..whether he's sitting, walking or being held..he'll start bouncing.
- Sometimes you have to wash rugs at 8pm. Thomas likes to walk to the bathroom now (naked) before his bath. Last night, he and Charlie walked into the bathroom for bathtime. Thomas had a big smile on his face and then stopped on the rug to smile more at me. All of a sudden, we (including Thomas) were in hysterical laughter because he peed on the rug! It was such a burst of liquid that I think it shocked all of us.
Oh, the adventures...

Oh yes, I've thrown the rugs in the wash after bath more than a few times!
