The last month (or so) has been filled with lots of movement! Charlie has been coaching rugby, Thomas is non-stop, Henry is now running everywhere and I finished my 4th half marathon. The Johnsons are on the go! Catch us while you can...
Henry is running/walking everywhere. In fact, he prefers to walk on walks now at daycare, instead of riding in the stroller. He is still a little wobbly, but he is doing great. He is also catching on to so many things! If you ask him to get a book..he grabs a book. If you ask him to throw something away...he shimmies down the two little steps to the back room and throws it away. He wants to put on his own shoes (that doesn't work yet though), take off his own coat, walk to the garage, etc. It's great.
Thomas is such a great helper. He wants to help me with everything with Henry, especially in the mornings because Charlie is already at work, when the boys and I are getting ready. He is such a little man. He is excited about going to preschool this fall and riding the preschool transit bus from school to daycare. He seems to be growing a lot lately, too! All of his pants are getting too short and every pair has a whole in the right knee! He enjoys playing outside with dad, hitting baseballs and going on adventure walks.
I completed my 4th half marathon last weekend! It was awesome. I ran with my great friend, Cassie, and her family. My other wonderful training partner, Megan, got an achilles injury two weeks before the big race. She is gearing up to join us now for another half marathon in October! :) We are on a roll.
Charlie finished up his third season coaching women's rugby (along with keeping up with his full-time job that also sent him to IA and KS for a week at a time this spring). He even managed to play a bit of rugby in the last month.
We are looking forward to the summer and having great adventures. Stay tuned...
