Three Months Of Fun!

Ok...ok..it's been three months since my last entry. Sorry! I was doing so well this summer and then I just sort of lost it. So much to catch up on! I will spare you on all of my lengthy explanations of everything and post mostly pictures for you.

August: After Thomas's 4th birthday party, we continued to have fun. We went to the State Fair, saw some tractors, cows, etc. The boys had a great time and we all enjoyed our time at the fair. (No pictures of that.)

September:  This month kicked off with the annual labor day get together with Charlie's family. We had a great time.This month also marked the beginning of a new era at our house...Thomas is now a preschooler! He loves it. He goes two mornings a week and then rides the preschool bus (transit) to daycare. He seems to be doing very well in school and absolutely loves riding the transit.

October: My cousin, Emi, and Nate got married! WOO HOO! Thomas was the ring bearer and did a great job. I wish that my internet connection was faster, so I could post some videos of the boys. They were both dancing machines and were the life of the party. Henry seems to have rhythm, which he demonstrated to Billy Jean!

We also participated is a few races this month. I completed my fifth half marathon (shaving 1 1/2 minutes off my best time) and Charlie ran in a four person relay of the whole marathon (they each ran about 6.5 miles or so of the 26.2) and they finished second! We also ran in the annual Halloween Run. Thomas ran in the second annual Lil Monsters Dash. We had a great time! For Halloween we had two super heroes...IronMan and Captain America. Both boys really got into trick or treating! It was very fun.

I have mostly given updates on Thomas, so here is some info on Henry: He is growing like crazy. He is very independent and loud. He definitely lets you know when he likes or dislikes something. :) His words are coming along so nicely, too. It's so much fun to listen to him. He is also becoming a bit of a brute with his brother. It turns out that little brother is the instigator in most everything. Anything from tackling, biting, hitting and yelling..he's in charge. In fact, the other day he was upset with Charlie about something and we didn't understand any of it, but we are pretty sure that he cursed him out. :) It's so fun to see how different, yet the same Henry and Thomas are. Two boys is definitely a lot of fun!
